Separation and Identification of Klebsiella spp. with K2 Bi-Plates
Clinical mastitis in dairy cows is usually caused by bacteria or other microorganisms that enter the mammary gland. Lide Laboratories manufactures a Mastitis Quad Plate with four media types for the separtion and identification of many common bacteria that cause mastitis. We are now offering a new plate to further help separte and identify Klebsielli spp, a gram-negative bacteria. For more information on this product please on the product photo.
The photo to the right shows the results of a mixed specimen containing E. coli and Klebsiella on our K2 Bi-Plate. Both coliforms grew in Chamber I, but only Klebsiella grew in Chamber II.
